Rare native tonewoods, unmistakable signature shapes, groundbreaking electronic innovations, and world-class hardware trusted by musicians across the globe. A technical showcase of the craftsmanship, design language, and sonic identity that make a Tagima instrument instantly recognizable even before the very first note is played.
Before any pickup or hardware, tone is born in the wood. Tagima works with high performance Brazilian natives (Cedar, Pau Marfim, Pau Ferro, Imbuia) alongside world references such as Mahogany, Okoumé, Ebony, and Koa, chosen for concrete acoustic contribution rather than decoration.

A dense, oily Brazilian wood, visually similar to rosewood, with a brighter, more articulate tonal response. Clean and defined tones, with clarity in the highs.
It is not subject to CITES restrictions, facilitating international commercialization of Tagima instruments across all markets — a strategic advantage that combines tonal performance, native origin, and global compliance.

Pau Marfim
A dense, rigid, and highly stable native Brazilian wood. On the neck, its acoustic characteristics are close to classic maple: bright, with defined attack and long sustain. Dimensional stability against temperature and humidity changes is fundamental for professional instruments that travel between climates.
The choice of Pau Marfim as the neck wood across the Signature and Handmade in Brazil lines is a statement of identity: a native Brazilian raw material with the structural and tonal performance of the most respected international references.

Marupá
A medium density Brazilian wood with regular fibers that produce a warm tone similar to alder, with good sustain and spectral balance. In semi acoustic instruments, it contributes to the natural resonance, the "breathing" that blues and jazz musicians value.

Imbuia
A rare native Brazilian wood from the Lauraceae family, with wavy grain and golden brown tonality. It produces warm, full bodied tones with excellent sustain. Scarce and expensive, it represents the peak of what Brazilian luthiery can offer in terms of native raw material.

CEDAR
A medium density wood with excellent dynamic response, fast attack, and a balance between mids and lows. Warm, versatile tone without sacrificing note definition, working with equal efficiency for clean tones and high distortion. Dominant choice in high performance Brazilian luthiery.

Not clones nor variations of established references. The Tagima original shapes are born from a market demand and take form with their own visual identity. Each one solves something concrete before communicating any aesthetic.
Rocker
A signature shape that mixes vintage offset references with modern, symmetric curves. The sculpted lower cutaway facilitates access to the upper frets, and the silhouette (neither Telecaster nor Jazzmaster) carries unmistakable visual personality.
In the UQ (Unique) version, premium materials such as Okoumé and Bolivian Rosewood elevate the proposal to the top of the portfolio, keeping ergonomic comfort and tonal versatility at the center of the design.

Ekosonic
A semi hollow shape with internal air chambers that give the instrument natural resonance, controlled feedback, and the "breathing" typical of great vintage archtops, without the excessive feedback of a fully hollow instrument.
It unites the best of American jazz with Brazilian design: a statement of identity capable of competing aesthetically and sonically with the genre's icons.
Models: Ekosonic · Blues 3600
Almach
A single cut with proprietary proportions and cutaways, especially sculpted on the upper wing. Flamed maple top over Okoumé and Bolivian Rosewood fretboard. A Brazilian single cut with its own identity, not a copy of established references.
Models: Almach (all), Mirach (all), Whind, Sixmart SC

Roasted Wood
A torrefaction process that heats the wood without oxygen, removing residual moisture and polymerizing the cellulose. The result: a more stable, lighter wood with a dry, articulate tone and characteristic golden appearance.
